With an alluring design and lasting construction, the Kohler Tides lavatory (model K-2839-8) presents an expressive, versatile option for the bathroom. The graceful, undulating rim dips slightly lower in the front for convenience, while the basin curves gently downward to contain splash. This version of the Tides offers a 8-inch three-hole center design, but it's also available in single-hole faucet design and 4-inch three-hole center design.

Crafted from enameled cast iron, this sink resists scratching, burning, and staining for years of beauty and reliable performance. One of only a few plumbing manufacturers who produce cast iron products in the United States, Kohler protects this sink with a limited lifetime warranty. And the enameled cast iron has a smooth, non-porous surface, which makes it very easy to clean.

The Tides Lavatory measures 20 x 17 inches overall, has a basin area measuring 18-1/16 x 10-3/16 inches, and a basin depth of 7-1/2 inches. It features 8-inch center faucet holes (faucet not included). The faucet spout must be a minimum of 5 inches long for adequate clearance, and it must be tall enough to clear the 3-inch rim height and provide a 1-inch air gap. It is also ADA compliant.

Gloss reduction, scratching, staining and alkaline etching of the finish over time due to use, cleaning practices or water or atmospheric conditions, are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear.
